More information about CycLAvia and the Holiday Party will be coming out shortly via email.  Make sure you’re on our email list!  Mrs. Newgard will have more information about elections once our members who were absent at the last meeting are able to vote. The new leadership team will then assemble to plan our upcoming meetings.

Crew members helped with the American Legion Post 288 Annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony at Two Strike Park.  Crew President, Ella Cartnal, assisted with the ceremony.  Crew members also kicked off the Thanksgiving Holiday by volunteering at Operation Gratitude’s Assembly Day on November 17.  We assembled medals, thank you cards, and helped review letters of appreciation for our troops.

Don’t forget!  On Friday, November 26, we are having our Crew Halloween Party from 7-10pm.  Come in costume!  Location information is being sent through Remind or contact ecartnal@gmail.com or adviser@crew288.com for more information.

This October, we will be working on our requirements for the Venturing Award.  This includes the Personal Safety Awareness training that will happen in 2 parts split between our October meetings.  Other requirements include attendance at an upcoming crew event.  Don’t forget to check our Crew Calendar.  We have some great events happening this fall.

Bring your Venturing books if you have them.  We hope to see you at our October meetings on the 11th and 25th.

The Crew had a great time exploring LA!

Well, not really.  But we had a lot of fun learning how to curl!

           

Bring your swimsuit and towel!  We’re having snacks and will talk about ideas for this next year.  The crew planning meeting is moved to the 2nd meeting in August.   The meeting is at 3405 Henrietta at 7pm.  We hope to see you there!

 

Our monthly meeting will be this Thursday at the American Legion Hall at 7:00pm. There will be snacks!
