Get ready to get wet! This Thursday, we’re moving our meeting to CV Park. We will meet by the picnic benches in the Hindenburg Park section. We will play water balloon games. Bring a snack to share. Don’t forget to bring a towel!

Welcome to Venturing Crew 288. We’d love for you to join us!
Venturing is a co-ed program for everyone ages 14-20 that likes adventure, leadership, personal growth, and service. It’s a great way to make new friends with shared interests. We’d love to meet you! Both teens and parents are welcome.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month, but please check our crew calendar out for our exact schedule of events.

On 2/22 we will be learning about interviewing skills. Learning how to interview and prepare for an interview is an important skill! You won’t want to miss this. Bring your resumes.

Crew Elections on Thursday 1/25
Hey Crew! We will be having elections during our next meeting on Thursday 1/25 at 7pm. Be sure to come and vote! If you cannot make it, please contact Mrs. Newgard for a ballot. We will also be doing fun career assessments. There will be cookies. Hope you can join us!
Next Crew Meeting, Holiday Party, and Re-registration
Next week we have 2 events – our December Crew Meeting on Thursday 12/14 at 7pm and the Holiday Party with white elephant gift exchange on 12/16 from 5-8pm. At the Crew Meeting we will do signups for winter events, payments for the ski trip, re-registration, and nominations for elections along with leadership opportunities and games. The Holiday Party is a Flapjacks and Flannel event. More information for that event may be found on the Evite. Please contact us if you didn’t receive additional information about it through your email or remind texts.
Re-register for 2018! We have a lot of fun activities planned at the start of the year AND have room to add additional adventures of interest to the crew on the schedule.
